I was reading my first post and it was not so good. To much dribble for my taste and for anyone who may find it.
So I will make it short, I am a retired computer fixer upper. Oh gosh that was a time working in the computer industry. I repaired computer for larger company for there IT departments.
Anyway I am now retired and am living in Virginia with my dear husband.
He is one of the keepers he has been my life saver, I have been through a lot these past few years.
I am finally being able to be back into my life again. There were times my pain was so bad and the doctors could find the reason. I had one doctor throw me out of his office, now that was something.
He said I was just using him for pain medicine. Ya right if I could I would have given him the pain I had.
Well thank goodness my own doctor was an angel he found me a great pain doctor. Although it took him almost a year to do something that worked. It is called a spinal cord stimulator and it works. No more pain the funny part was that the doctor that threw me out of his office, well he was the one who had to do the surgery on my back. Guess that taught him something.
I have to tell you he asked me why It took so long to come back. I just looked at him and then he look it up. He never said a word about it again.
It was one of those dead moments when no one looks at each other. But knows now what it was. Oh well it worked and now I am a happy. I can now sit and knit and enjoy it without pain. I just turn my self on and I am in heaven. Soon to be off some of my pills and that is the best part of this system inside of me.
So off to do more knitting and hope everyone is happy and well.

What a night

I can't believe what a night thunderstorms almost all night. Thank goodness I can sleep through them. We also had a chance of Tornadoes and that is what scared me most. But I went to sleep and never heard more. Of course if you could have seen the dog my little dachshund. um not so little we feed her to much. Anyways she was just buried into my stomach and would not go anywhere else.
Poor baby she is so afraid of thunderstorms. So much so that we have to come home if we are out just for her. She pees she gets so scared. If I am there she just gets into my lap and shivers.
So this morning no more rain so far and she had to be carried out remember she thinks it is still raining out there. Heavens can't get wet. She is a big baby that I can tell ya. So she went out and did her thing as fast as a dog can.
At least now I can get some knitting done. No more dog in my lap..........hehehehe.
I am almost done my shawl and I don't think I like it. I bought the prettiest Raspberry color yarn. It is merion and I don't think it will have a big enough drape on it. Oh well I just ordered a book and it has a great shawl in there. I have wanted to knit it for a long time now.
I'll keep ya in touch with it.

Wow What a Surprise

What a surprise I got from my son. His son is coming down to where we live. Why you ask is this a surprise, well I haven't seen my grandson for eight years.
When he got the divorce from his first wife it was a mess. She put so many things into the divorce papers. Well he tried to fight but the laws are still with the mother. I am not saying that some woman should or should not get the children. Although they shouldn't get so many restriction on the other person. Wither it be the father or mother, I am also saying that these are normal person.
So anyway I got off there for a moment. I am so happy to see him he is only her for two days. That is all she will give my son. Hey two days is enough. And it is Mothers day to boot.
So this will be a short note and I go and get ready to see my grandson. If I had know sooner I would have knitted him a scarf in his football colors. Maybe I will and then send it to him for Christmas. Last year they had so much snow that is what awful.
It was just cold down here and good weather to sit and knit.
See you all soon and I will let ya's know how it went. Happy Birthday Damin.
